just want to say I love WOO. It's probably the most informative odds site out there.
Just wanted to let you know I have just put a game on Facebook that I have put my blood, sweat, and tears into. My goal is to make it the best for-fun Video Poker game out there and would love to get your input.
You can find it by searching Boombet Video Poker on Facebook
Thank you all!!
Paul
Really hope you can test it though I put a lot of dam work into it

I'd also be interested in trying it out, but I'm also not on Facebook. I spend way too much time managing other things to try to get Facebook time in that mix. If there is any other way to check it out, please let me know.
Quote: CrystalMathI tried, but it says the content isn’t available or the link is broken.
I can get on. It's 7/5 with 1000 for a Royal.
I am not a huge fan of apps that "require" my name and E-mail address - especially since at least one of them has sent E-mails "in my name" without my knowledge.
Suggestion: the game runs way too slow. There needs to be an option to speed it up.
never again
Maybe FB works for Slot "no skills" grandma like players
Video poker is game for different demographic ...
Please host it on the open portal
And don’t worry we’re not gonna spam ya. Lol.
How does it run too slow?
Too many pop-up 'prizes', too many things happening, you are playing with three different currencies at the same time. These all slow the game down and, for this crowd, it doesn't provide any benefit.
I think the Facebook gaming crowd may enjoy it though.

Yeah since it’s not real money we added a lot of bells and whistles. Our player base is mostly Keno players and what they’re used to. Did you check the achievements tho Jeffery?

I saw that I won a bunch of achievements in a short time -- before I ran out of chips. That said, I am no longer motivated by achievements. Maybe many still are...

So your company is going through a lifecycle as of always and when it reaches the end you will do anything to alleviate your debts if any and sell the data. Every company does this. I bet you are a trustworthy person but someone won’t buy your company if data doesn’t come along with it as it is how the next person will analyze and try to improve your product in ways you can’t.
My 4 main reasons are
1) to buy the prizes, which gets you more chips
2) chasing achievements which earn chips as well
3) being high on the leaderboards and
4) trying to get as close to the maximum payout % (I do this calculation myself based on stars earned per hand).
I love video poker as much as the next guy, it accounts for atleast 75% of my gambling budget, but when I don't have money to play, or not going to a casino, this is definitely a great way to pass time. This game may not be for the pro player, or high rollers, but for people who just enjoy the game, give it a try and you may enjoy it as much as I do.
Quote: hollyboy4444I can understand where a lot of the above posters are coming from, but I find this game very intriguing. Sure, there is no money involved, but if you are just looking to play Jacks or Better for fun, I think it does the trick. I can still play 500-600 hands if I play for a full hour, which is plenty, and there are multiple different reasons to play.

I did just sign up to Wizard of Vegas, but I am not related to Boombet. Boombet posted in the game chat about this thread, and after reading a lot of the feedback, I thought I would explain the game for people questioning it without even looking into it. I was one of the testers on the game, I helped find flaws and errors in the program before it went live, there were probably about 100 testers, and we only received more starting play coins based on how long we tested for. The game has now been live since March 1st for anyone to play. He didn't ask anyone to write anything, but I thought, as one of the frequent players, I would explain what the game offers. I've played 11000 hands since the game went live plus maybe 10000 testing hands, so I know a lot about the game.

I have been doing Facebook games for 10 years and you don't need to provide your email, it's just a way for us to stay in touch with you.
