- 9/6 JoB is 99.54% return
- 8/5 bp is 99.2% return
- Double super times pay (8/5 bp) is 99.67% return.
But around 0.7% of that Is from the sum of royals with multipliers.
So variance is double that of JoB. (Worse than ddb.)
I don't think the small increase in return is worth the much higher variance.
What do you think?
Personally I would love 8/5 Bonus w/DSTP to exist for me locally at quarters. Love the game, even though it doesn't love me...lol Best we have around here is 7/5 Bonus.
dstp (8/5 bp) is available in 5play (quarters) and 3play ($1 denomination)Quote: tringlomaneIt depends on a lot of factors. Your bankroll? The denominations of these games? For example, if 9/6 JoB is only available at $5, but 8/5 Bonus with Double STP is available at 10-line quarters, the variance gets smoothed out a lot more with the 10-line quarters.

9/6 job is 10play (quarters).
So quite the opposite about variance smoothing, I think.

Yeah, then for variance sake I would likely pick 9/6 JoB if you're looking to grind points, because with the Double STP, 0.11% of the return is devoted to the 20X Royal alone!
I should have done that.Quote: tringlomaneYeah, then for variance sake I would likely pick 9/6 JoB if you're looking to grind points, because with the Double STP, 0.11% of the return is devoted to the 20X Royal alone!
Just Lost $1800 on triple play $1 dstp (8/5 bp).
