We know. So do the casinos. The consensus seems to be that the site is doing more harm than good, at least if it's truly designed for advantage play. I'm not an expert; just summarizing past discussions.
And this post, in itself, is spam. You might try not duplicating it. Warning.

My understanding is that VPFREE2 wasn't designed for AP's but to give guidance to video poker players where they could find the better payback machines. I think it serves a great purpose for the masses but is a definite negative for the AP's.

AGREED ! Not sure about the "masses" exactly, I wonder how many tourists in Vegas have ever heard of it or care ? 3 % ? For those of us who do care and at least for me, it saves me time going from machine to machine trying to find the best pay table for the game that I know the strategy for.
How true. The database at vpfree2 is crowd-sourced so you're bound to see some folks blabbing too much there. Actually I see that on this forum also. But on balance, I've gained far more than I've lost from both.Quote: DRichMy understanding is that VPFREE2 wasn't designed for AP's but to give guidance to video poker players where they could find the better payback machines. Vpfree2 serves a great purpose in showing the ploppies where to play video poker. We need more ploppy-play on the good machines to keep them profitable for the casinos. If we think of it this way maybe we wouldn't be so upset with it.

VPFree2 is okay to navigate, but the VPFree forum on yahoo is godawful.
I also hated updating for VPFree2 as well when I bothered. I felt like I had to format it their way to be nice, but their format sucked to type in. Laziness and a little pressure from here made me mostly stop updating.
As with any Yahoo Group forum, switch to getting individual emails from the group and you never again have to actually go to the group. Then you can send all forum messages to their own folder and read or skim them at your leisure.Quote: tringlomaneVPFree2 is okay to navigate, but the VPFree forum on yahoo is godawful.
Heh. I guess you like the format of your own video poker database that you set up on the VMB.Quote: tringlomaneI also hated updating for VPFree2 as well when I bothered.
