$1 98.9% deuces wild
.05, .10, .25 8/5 bp spin poker deluxe (99.2%)
wiz's site doesn't have any info on spin poker deluxe.
from what I've read it's a 20line version of spin poker. (spin poker = 9lines)
1) I've never played spin poker before.
How much is the max bet on the .05 denom spin poker deluxe?
2) I'm leaning towards the $1 98.9% dw.
I know I only get 4 spins but hitting a Royal on a .05 denom machine doesn't appeal to me.
Which machine would you play?
I would go for higher EV --- which is 8/5 BP as a matter of principle. It has a lower variance too.
$20 is a relatively small amount of money. The difference in EV between the games is between 4 and 5 cents. Don't spend a lot of time, emotion, and energy on such a trivial amount. Pick a game. Play your four deals, and go on to something where you can make some money.
If I knew one of the strategies well and the other not-so-well, I would go with the game I knew better.

The time it took for you to write this all out is worth more than whatever the tenth of a percent difference between the 2 games lloolololol.
The optimallest (that's a word I swear) to play this is probably to play $0.05 1-line DW. Play 80 hands and you're done. (Or 4-line, for 20 hands.) It would take a hair longer to play 20 hands or 80 hands than to play 4 hands, since most of the time, presumably, is everything else - driving to casino, getting to machine, buying in, cashing out, etc.
If hitting a 5c royal doesn't appeal to you, find something else to do. Or find a $5 machine, download your $20 in FP, and stick in a crisp $5 bill. Play max credits ($25/spin), for one hand. Hitting a Royal for $20k should appeal to you. Then again, you could also put in $105 cash and play one spin for $125!
Never mind, do what you want. Or do what you don't want.

I'd think the 5c SPD DW would have significantly lower variance than $1 single line BP.
Me too. But those weren't the games under consideration.
I swear it was DW SPD vs single line BP. I suspect it was switched around on the OP after my post....I swear it!
Sounds like some espionage.

I almost had to call an uber the other day because my contacts got dried (and I took them out), and without my glasses wouldn't be able to drive home. Luckily I found my glasses.....or else I'd have had to take an uber home to get my glasses then an uber back to my car to drive home. Getting as old as me, it is such a malfeasance, I'll tell ya what.
