dstp = double super times pay
wiz's page says the avg multiplier is 4.01.

I ran into a single line dstp on a '5 star' machine.
I got ALOT of 2x. :(

the 'All Star II' machines version of dstp rarely gave me a 2x multiplier. (I played this for 40k tier points.)

Can casinos lower the avg multiplier on dstp?
or is that set in stone by the manufacturer?
Craps is paradise (Pair of dice). Lets hear it for the SpeedCount Mathletes :)

I don't know the absolute correct answer to the question.. however I can surmise that since bonus games on video poker MUST have a return at least as great as the base game, the manufacturer would probably not allow the multiplier table to be changed. Again, just a guess on my part, and probably only applies to Nevada.

No, they can not reduce the multiplier or its frequency.
At my age, a "Life In Prison" sentence is not much of a deterrent.

I think casino operators are capable of doing that. It's just a computer program that has a setting to configure. They can increase it and decrease it but it will surely affected their income.
