Hello,
Sorry if this has been asked already.
Just curious what would be a better bet out of these two VP variances.
For discussion, the type of game is the same between the two options.
Question: Single play $10 ($50 a game max credits) or $1 10-play which is also $50 a game max credits.
Just curious if it makes a difference as for a better return over a 10 hour session.
Thanks in advance.

Depends what your goal is.
If you want to cut down on variance (big wins and big losses), then go for the 10-play. The 10-play will also cut down on W2G's.
If you wanna gamble and maybe win a lot or lose a lot, then play the $10 single line game.
If you describe what you're looking to do, maybe the bankroll you'd be bringing and game etc....people would be able to help you out more on what you should play.

Thanks RS
I know this is frowned upon but I enjoy playing Triple double bonus for the extra kicker.
Budget is about $20k-25k for a weekend of play.
Wondering at my budget level what is the best denomination to play.

It's not so much frowned upon but more like TDB players deserve empathy, not scorn. They're sick.

I have a 4 Ace/kicker addiction.
Is there any help for our kind. 😄

A straight jacket might help.

If you have $20k-$25k for a bankroll is this an AP play or a "for fun" play?Quote: David425...Budget is about $20k-25k for a weekend of play...
Playing it correctly means you've already won.

If you are searching for the aaaa with kicker and want more of them, then play the ten play you will see more hands thus hit more of them, you may even get dealt one
No longer hiring, don’t ask because I won’t hire you either

Play the 10 play because normally you will last longer before going broke. To answer your original question, the expected return is exactly the same.
At my age, a "Life In Prison" sentence is not much of a deterrent.

I show for the best pay table (9/7) single playQuote: DRichPlay the 10 play because normally you will last longer before going broke.
in VP4Winners at 4000 hands played RoR with $25k starting = 37.2%
at 5000 hands = 44.6%
did not calculate for 10 play RoR (too slow) but the standard deviation is
31350 vs
13950 (for 10 play)
i get using normal dist (not the best result)
a ruin abouts 6% for 10 play at 4000 rounds
that be trueQuote: DRichTo answer your original question, the expected return is exactly the same.
except
for one 10 hour session,
way way way less likely to lose the ev (close to it)
at single play than 10 play
just how it is
