Does anybody know what variant this is to JOB? and why it's 99.75% payback as opposed to the 9/6 full pay JOB of 99.54%?

99.75% JoB-S3P

Ahh, got it. Not, bad, it gives you 11 instead of 9 on a full house, 100 on 4 of kind instead of 25, and 60 on a straight flush instead of 50. I think the most improved value here is the 4X pay on the four of a kind, which happens every 400-450 hands or so. flushes happen even more frequent, so the extra 2 on that is def helpful. No big deal on the extra 10 on a straight flush, which only happens every 9,200+ hands. (yet dosent hurt you eighter)

I wonder if this requires a different strategy as opposed to 9/6 JOB? Anybody know?

The only deviations I would think from full pay JOB strategy would involve the choice of holding a low pair vs. 4 to a flush. But, then again, these cancel each other out because they both have increased pays for 4 of a kind and flushes. Hmm interesting.

My guess would be no deviations from 9/6 JOB strategy, because the 4 of a kind generated from holding a low pair is so infrequent, I don't think it would justify holding the low pair vs. the 4 to a flush, when the flush happens roughly 20% of the time, by holding 4.

Actually, I wonder if you now hold the 4 to a flush vs. the high pair, because of the increased pay on the flush. That would be the only deviation I could possibly think of.

Anybody know?

Super Triple Play is a version of VP where you pay an extra credit per hand to mainly increase the quad payouts in the game. So, since you're paying 6 credits a hand now, they ballooned the quad payout to 500 coins and bumped the full house to 55 to make up for the extra coin pay, but give you a bit extra to entice you to play, hence the 99.75% return on full pay JoB. The best version of this game I've personally seen is 9/7/5 double bonus which pays 99.35%.

Absolutely. But you can use JB's VP strategy calculator to find the strategy. Just input the paytable and if you want to know the real return, multiply the calculator return by 5/6.

Here is the full pay JoB strategy for super triple play. It's close to 9/6 JoB but not quite. Other games like DDB have more significant changes in this game though.
