Just saw an UX vulturer at a small Eastern US casino sit down at a $1 Ten Play UX 8/5 DDB machine, with "NEXT HAND 8X" on each line (previous player held a pat straight) put a crumpled up voucher in, and play 1 credit per hand.
Way to hand $280 back to the casino owner. Idiota.
Quote: IbeatyouracesDid he play all ten hands? Possibly he didn't have a lot of money or enough to pay five credits per line. If so, he still had as huge edge.
Yes, if you want to give him a little credit for playing 10 hands. I see Asians all the time "call for backup" when they are short on funds for a must-hit. They are so crafty.
Why didn't this guy do that? LOL SMH. I don't care how risk averse you are.
And he got dealt a pair of Kings.
What a surprise. Everyone is broke.

Well, if he would have went for more money, you would have taken it, right? So if that's the case, he was smart as he probably didn't have "backup".
I love it when the one credit people let other multipliers survive.
Or do all of the above and then call up your Asian buddy. They are crawling all over the town.
Ugh. Whatever. Guy still made $4,000/hr per mamat's gorilla accounting. LOL.
Quote: IbeatyouracesOh don't get upset at him. No matter how he played it, you wouldn't have gotten it. Chalk it up to just another civilian just playing the game normally.
Disagree partially. What do degenerates do when they hit a big score?? They go gamble it up elsewhere. So you don't see them for a while and your EV goes up in the short term for that shop because you are scooping up all the machines they would've hit.
You know, Phil Ivey has only made 1 forum post in his life, and in that post he talks about how future EV is just as important as present EV.

Ivey is scum. Who cares about him??? So thankful 99% of my online poker roll was at Stars.
And how much EV did he have at the craps table...lmao

I don't care for him either. Doyle and Chip Reese have said the same thing about future EV. Anyways, I was wishing this guy hit big and went on his way because today was a huge EV day (Halloween + promos).
Quote: IbeatyouracesPhil Ivey is NOT an AP either.
100% disagree. Did you not read all the baccarat stories? That is definitely AP. I know he also plays negative games like Craps, but he will AP whenever he gets a chance.

Read them again. His female partner was the AP. He just made the bets. Without her, he would've been just another ploppy bac player.
You may want to research a bit more. I'm almost certain he did some VP AP in AC prior to the WSOP.Quote: IbeatyouracesRead them again. His female partner was the AP. He just made the bets. Without her, he would've been just another ploppy bac player.
There's way more going on than what's public knowledge.
