Games where you hold something the most/least

I was wondering what games people know of where you hold something the most or least. For example, it seems more common to throw away all your cards in deuces wild than in jacks or better. Though I don't really know the game, just looking over strategy charts it seems like joker poker would be a candidate for a game where you hold very frequently. Some variants will have you hold a single card 5-J if you don't have anything else, so it seems like there are very few hands (offsuit variants of AKQ23?) where you hold nothing. Is there a variant where you are throwing away all your cards more than deuces wild, or throwing away all your cards less than joker poker?

Let's assume we're talking non-progressive machines and no pick 'em.
