Can anyone upload a picture of what a 9/6 jacks or better Paytable is supposed to look like where I look for it on a screen? I just found a machine that has a 9 over a 6 on it but I'm not sure it's listed in the right spot.

Also the references 6 9 , or 8 5, or whatever always refer to the single coin line. You see 45 30 on the 5 coins played but you ID it on single coin line when it is a particular pay table being mentioned for a game.

Or the left line, whichever works best. You want to see 9 on the FH line and 6 on the Flush line

Make sure the royal pays 4000 also. There are fakes out there that only pay 2500 for it.

That is what they recently gave us. Sure beats the previous 8/5 that we had.
Expect the worst and you will never be disappointed.

In these games the royal goes 500, 1000, 1500, 2000, 2500 so no need to max bet.

In general, 1 coin per line bet should activate 1 coin payout on Jacks or Better, 2 for 2, etc... it may start to get hinky at 6 or more coins on a bonus game.
There is often a penalty on the top payouts (Royal Flush, Sequential Royal Flush (if it's an SRF game) for playing at less than 5 coins per line. What this means practically is that you typically see 250/500/750/1000/4000 as the payout for Royal Flush across the top of the paytable. (250/500/750/1000/50000 for SRF)
Some progressive machines have further betting options (10 or 20 coins/line max, instead of the typical 5/line), and the max per line enables progressive payouts on the juicy hands (4 of a kind, straight flush, royal flush, sequential royal straight flush). They usually seem to work as normal machines at less than max bet, but have the same bump in RF/SRF pay at 5+ coins/line.
Otherwise, the paytable just multiplies by the coins bet (unless it's a bonus game of some type, where the 6th credit and beyond buy a game feature like Extra Draw Frenzy, (Double) Super Times Pay, Hot Roll, Ultimate-X, Quick Quads.... or whatever.
If you're looking at the paytables on (say) VPFree2 and wondering why they don't look like the machine, it's usually because they divide the 5 coin/line paytable by 5. The easy way to compare it is to check that the top hands on the 5 coin/line (or max bet) divide to what you expect (at 5 coin/line, RF pays 4000... divided by 5, that's 800), and that the rest of the 1 coin paytable matches.
I find it easiest to work from the bottom up.
From the top of my head, that's
JoB 1
2 Pair 2
3oK 3
Straight 4
Flush 6
Full House 9
4oK 25
SF 50
RF 800
SRF 10000
Suppose you find a machine that does have a pinched RF payout, but all the other numbers are good - like a 500/9/6 machine. Most of the time - like every time you pull a flush or a full, but not a royal - you'll be getting paid better than you would on, say, an 800/9/5 or 800/8/5 (or worse) machine, but 1 out of 40000 hands it's not so good.

Also keep in mind that 9/6 isn't always good in every video poker game. In double bonus, 9(full house)/6(flush)/4(straight) is only 96.38%.
