I was sitting at a sports bar at a Caesars property and I noticed they had a version of bonus poker I had never seen. While they had the obviously terrible 6/5, they had 150 for all 4 of a kind instead of the usual 25/40/80. Any idea what his does to the percentage(I have a feeling it lowers it but just curious).

Yeah, 96.18%. It's unfortunately the best single line bartop game at most of the strip CET properties now. :'(
On my last trip late last month, TAG lounge still had "traditional" 6/5 Bonus (96.87%), but that was the only CET bar on the strip where I saw it.

This is frighteningly sad.
In a way though this is a little comforting to me. With MGM joining CET in going all 6/5 Blackjack, I have been fretting about the deteriorating BJ games on the strip, concerned that this will spread beyond the strip to my rotation of games. But 96% VP just proves that the strip has a completely different mentality and clientele....drunk tourist chugging beer and sipping 3 foot Eiffel tower drinks. These patrons will play anything.
The off strip properties can't get away with this, so I guess we are still safe for the time being. :/
Oh, I love the teardrop on the sad face, tringlomane. Very creative.

Remember, it's only 96% when played OPTIMALLY!! I'm sure the plops playing them are in the 93-95% range.
Just earlier while waiting on a slot attendant to get my jammed cash out ticket, a couple playing DW UX had to be the worst I've ever seen. They were holding a single 8 or 3 when dealt a hand such as Qs, Js, 9h, 8d, 3c.

I've seen locals do this off strip in casinos and in bars, so it's not just the strip properties. Casinos are making money on video poker no matter how good the return is.
