DB/DDB- Pick 2 pair over non-Ace high pair?!

I don't understand why.
high pair and 2pair pay the same.
even with a game as bad as 7/5/4 DB (93%), you pick the 2 pair.
sure with 2 pair u get a chance of a full house.
but with high pair you can get quads? (and even if you miss quads, u can get trips.)

Better chance to hit a full house then trips or 4oak
2 pair, 4 cards can help you make a full house
1 pair, 2 cards can help you make trips or 4oak
When somebody doesn't believe me, I could care less. Some get totally bent out of shape when not believed. Weird. I believe very little on all forums

Pulling a quad from a pair is only about 1 in 360.333, but pulling a full house from two pair is 1 in 11.75. Many more 35 credit hits makes up for the 250 credit miracle.
Holding 2 pair is still even correct at 6/5 (but just barely). But this is definitely the most common mistake I see DDB players make. Quite a few people just hold the pair of face cards because they focus on the 250. I have seen a few even just hold face cards on TDB, which is a huge mistake because trips only pay 10 credits vs. 15.
