Does anyone know how the hand distribution changes (or if it changes) based on how many lines you're playing? If so, how does it change? Is there a formula?

Can't see why it would. I think no change.
In the short-term it would appear you get more of the same hands (get a pair on the 1st hand, so now you have at least a pair on all hands), but in the long-term this all evens out across all hands and it returns to a normal game.

Wisdom is the quality that keeps you out of situations where you would otherwise need it

No change. If it changed, so would the return. But with multi lines, the deal hand makes the hand groups clump together more based on the dealt hand. For example, if you're playing 100 line and are dealt a quad, that's making 100 quads in a row.
