three tens or the 3 to the Royal?
9/6 machine three of a kind pays 15 and the forth 10 would trigger 250 pay

without looking at the strategy chart there is no way I am throwing away 3oak and I don't think its even close.
But I have a feeling the opposite play worked out well for you. :)
Quote: AxiomOfChoiceNo matter how hard you try to give the casino your money they just won't take it huh?
Don't worry, they take it from people like me instead. If it was a single high pair...meh. But tossing trips...must be nice to be able to predict the future because I wouldn't know.

Some guy next to me held 9c Kc and dumped pair of J's and another card. He got a SF. I thought, "Wow I am honored to be in the presence of this retard. Awesome."
You have what, about a 0.1% (0.09%) chance of hitting a royal when you're three to RF. Good luck.

I didn't see it in the act, but I assumed it was the last play because they showed it. Someone held K2 on deuces wild while wagering $100 on the hand. :-\
I have seen some bad video poker players. Whats the point?Quote: coilmanDealt

You pose a question that has a mathematical correct answer then show a pic just to prove people wrong?
No matter what may or may not have happened, this does not in anyway succeed in making anyone with a brain think doing this is cleaver. Just the opposite IMO. Someone could drive off a huge cliff and survive, get out of the car, find a bag of money, that does not mean he is smart. It's just dumb luck.
I hope no one I like buys into this strategy. However, if you don't like me please do this to spite me please.
If someone was playing for me, and they purposely made a 3 card royal hold, over a 3 of a kind (unless it was the right play) Not only would I keep the money from the RF, i would dock them on top of it.
Please tell me you have the picture of the 3 of a kind? only then can I believe it and its probably not all that uncommon. I am not saying it didn't happen i just don't believe it.
I have a feeling the had that you speak of, would cost you over $20 in value each time in the long run.
I could post pictures of jackpots all day. IE Question: What do you do with a dealt RF that dose not lock up? A) hold it B) just toss it away?
I just tossed it a way and got this.
*Posts picture* of a sequential royal flush for 50k RF instead of a 4k RF

No need to guess.
TTT is worth 5.366 bets = $26.83
TKQs is worth 1.4 bets = $7
Total cost = $19.83
So... good guess!

Yeah, and like a 92% chance of ending up four-to-a-Royal just for the purpose of insult.
I know, not really.
/Confirmation bias.
Quote: IbeatyouracesThe other day, I was dealt an ace high straight/4 to a royal twice. The first was Ah, Kh, Qh, Jh, Td and the second was As, Ks, Qs, Jc, Ts. I was hoping to get the "Singer flip" but to no avail. :-(
Can you please turn on your PM really quick, hey hey!
