Hello all,

Was wondering if the wizard or someone on here could answer this question. I'm fairly new to video poker and was using a JOB single line strategy card yesterday at the casino that I got from another site. On the card the last three lines read: 3 High Cards 10-A| 2 High Cards 10-A| 1 High Card 10-A| then finally garbage-discard all. I don't understand that. If on Jacks or Better only a pair of Jacks can constitute a win, then why are they having me keep a 10 with face cards, ever? Although I don't see that on The Wizard's Optimal strategy chart. Is there ever a time I should keep a lone 10 with some other high card, except when there's a straight possibility? And if not, then why is that on all the strategy cards for this game? Thanks.

-Jason

Only if it's a two card royal draw (KT, QT, JT suited) or if it's some sort of straight flush draw (JT8 suited, etc.). Never hold Ace ten suited except possibly on a progressive with a very high jackpot.

Or 3 to a royal such as suited A K 10.
When somebody doesn't believe me, I could care less. Some get totally bent out of shape when not believed. Weird. I believe very little on all forums
