Headed to my local haunt tonight to get some entries for a drawing and use my free play up...started the night with $60, put $20 in on a $.25 DDB STP machine and lost it fairly quickly, but noticed I had $15 in free play to use up....headed to the high limit room that has a 99.56% $5 a credit STP JoB put my last $40 in, played one hand at one credit to activate my free play next hand, used the free play for max bet, lucky me I got a 5x multiplier and dealt trip 6's. I was ecstatic to say the least...and my excitement grew from there when the fourth 6 dropped...turned $15 of free play and $25 of my own into $3,125...that was by far the best use of my free play ever

Nice hit, Transcend!
If the House lost every hand, they wouldn't deal the game.

Thank you, and after checking vpfree my odds were incorrect it is the dream card that has 99.54% odds...nothing about the STP oops not a bad error to have made though

Not being a vp player or at least a competent one yet, could you please explain how that 99.54% or whatever it was, would have yielded any different result for you had that calculation (I assume via the paytable?) been 90% or say 110%? I think you'd have never played it at 90%, but on a hit & run type visit, why would it matter? I see so many people post vp jackpots, and I'd be hard pressed to remember one where someone said they were playing a game advantageous to them, probability wise. But that was a NICE profit no matter.

I don't know the difference between them to be honest, but like you said had I recalled properly I wouldn't have played it to begin with. Purely a lucky occurrence due to misinformation. I am in no way a competent VP player by any means but I do know that 99.54 is higher than all the other games so I assume my best chance for a return would have been on it, that was my main reasoning.

Standard 9/6 Jacks returns 99.54%
Dream card 9/6 Jacks returns 99.56%
Super Times Pay 9/6 Jacks returns 99.82%

vpFREE only shows the return of the standard game, even for novelty machines such as Dream Card, Super Times Pay, etc.

Thank you for that info, it specified dream card so I just assumed that was the only game that had that return. Very useful information, thanks again JB
