I first stumbled across this site doing searches on Vegas and things to do that did not invilve gambling. I have since obviously joined and occasionally post. My favorite thing to read is the trip reports. What do people like to see? I get a charge out of nice winning streaks. I also like to hear about conditions in certain casinos, ie pit bosses are a-holes, waitresses are thieves, whatever!

I will be in the big city May 3rd-6th for the derby and the fight, I plan to write my first trip report when I return. It will include a hotel review and any casino I visited along with my gambling wins and losses. I generally win at the ponies and lose at the craps table, but who cares I got tanked and then had fun.

The whole reason for this post is, what do you like to hear about? I am not interested for my future post because I will talk about what I talk about, but I am interested to know what others enjoy.

Thanks for looking, happy winning!

I like whatever the author cares to include - or omit.

I tend to write rather wordy reports.

I enjoy reading about great wins, and feel the pain of losses, but am always concerned and hopeful that these chance events do not influence the author's overall opinion of the casino or the facility in general.

I'm always interested in the restaurant, bar, and strip club reviews, especially if the poster gives an idea of his/her preferences, so I can judge whether or not it would be some place I'd like to try. WOV reviews was the reason I tried Triple 7's Brewpub @ Main Street Station last trip, and I loved the place!

I also like to hear about customer service that falls outside of accepted norms either way, so I can avoid a bad situation or enjoy better service.

I do like to hear about winning streaks too, but I have to take the reported wins with a grain of salt.

Damn, that's tight. Not only do you have to have the best 3 year old in the world, he has to run a great race on the first Saturday in May. I am a native Baltimore and lived a few blocks from Pimlico race track. They usually are the first track to have the Derby winner.

Why is it that most winning horse players insist on pissing their winnings away at some other game ? LOL

It's the same for other games.

Sometimes I think of my poker game as a way to fund my craps game. Funny thing is, sometimes it's the other way around!
