It was one of my favorite shows, but when I tried to rewatch it , it's amazing how snail like the plot progresses. A long weekend showed me why they set the show there. A few blocks from the very touristy Old Town, I encountered hundreds of living zombie meth heads.

Local casino I'm camped near been closed for several days
They have no idea when they will reopen
They claim its a computer issue
Maybe hacked?

New toy
Blood pressure machine
Have had moderately high blood pressure my whole life
Not super high but not good
Finally on blood pressure medication
Scary because it pretty much knocked me out
I rarely take naps. Took one today after taking medication
Doc wants me to take a daily BP test and write it down to show her on next visit

If you're eating a lot of meals in restaurants you might want to cut back. Lots of stuff can be hidden in those meals you won't even notice except the bad cumulative effects. You can make the same meal yourself but know it's not overloaded with too much crap.

I feel for you. I have been on blood pressure meds for over 20 years. I think I have been on every one. Most of them did not work very well for me until I got on Lisinopril. I was on that for about 7 years and it lowered my pressures by about 20 which was better than the others but I was still in the 180/110 range. About two years ago I was sent to the Emergency Room being told I was having a stroke. My BP was 252/153. Fortunately, I did not have a stroke and they put me on a heavy duty BP medicine which is working miracles for me. I am on a med called Nifedipine 90mg and my BP is now around 130/85. The unfortunate side effect is that my gums are infected and rotting and I am starting to lose teeth.
At my age, a "Life In Prison" sentence is not much of a deterrent.

That sucks, but teeth are replaceable these days. Dental health can usually be solved by throwing money at it, while medical conditions aren't so easy to solve.

Lisinopril must be the go to BP medication these days

I was in Little Rock recently.
Visited the National Park service museum across from Little Rock Central High School. Largest high school in the country when it was built. Magnificent building
Learned about the Little Rock 9
There were actually 200 black students ready to go
Strict entry requirements were made and only 10 made the cut. One set of parents learned what their daughter was about to be put through and said no way
Down to 9
These kids were constantly baited and harassed
One student couldn't take the baiting and fought back
She was expelled for defending herself
Students passed around the below card
Here is the t-shirt on sale at the park service and that card in the museum

I am a little late in responding to these posts; old people go figure.
My BP systolic range is around 130 -160, but my diastolic numbers stay in the 64-78 range all controlled by meds. My heart rate is a healthy mid 50's -- no meds here. Not too bad, I must report.
