PD vs Host- I finally got an answer

I'm off to the Golden Nugget for the Super Bowl party, events, etc. My "host" is titled as a Director of Player Development. I was curious about the difference between one and the other and you'd be shocked at how hard it is to get an answer by scouring the Internet . The PD handles higher rated customers and also oversees a staff of junior hosts. You'd think that such a simple answer would be easier to find.
