As for the sleep, I too (when left to my own devices) always seem to keep a pretty nocturnal schedule. The best way, without a doubt, if you've stayed up through the night, is to force yourself to stay up until 10pm-11pm the next night then crash. If it requires 5 hour energies, red bulls, etc, then do it. Honestly though, some adderall would also do the trick if you have a prescription or someone else you know does. Next best step is to get 'one hell of a workout' in during the day and you should be pretty darn tired that evening, so you could always try that too.

That being said, I fell asleep again about 6:45 and just woke up - I guess 3 hours sleep here and there is my new schedule (polyphasic sleep)

I spoke to one of the housekeepers about the ice machines and she informed me that, when she was hired, she asked why the ice machine rooms were closed off to guests -- they told her that too many times, people had been caught having sex in those rooms and management finally decided to just end the chances of that happening

Funny you mention insomnia. Ive just tried educating everyone on how to cure it in the process of living a better and healthier life. Want to fix your sleeping patterns? Stop eating all day and have a massive meal at night. If you want to, have a piece of fruit(something low glycemic) during the day at the most and adopt this lifestyle going forward. Let me know if you ever suffer from insomnia again.

Just listen to what im telling you. The reason you cant sleep is because your whole body is going in different directions. I bet you get a lot of headaches as well during the day.
STOP eating during the day. Implement an intermittent fasting regimen to your life. Start off slow with 12 hr fasts, then 14 hrs, then 16 hrs and eventually get to 20 hrs. Sleep counts as part of the fast. The fasting time begins after your last meal. Once you complete your daily fast, eat a nice big meal and see if you ever have problems sleeping again at night.
