Headed to T town later today for some low rolling fun. While not as interesting as Ace's escapades someone's got to pick up the slack while he is gone! I'll be hitting the craps table, possibly some VP, and taking in a show that's currently running through the summer. Wish me luck!!

Rofl. Thanks for that Axel!! Made my day. I think I'll have as much of a edge playing DP on the craps table as SP at the BJ table.

Which casino and which show. Have only been down there once but I didn't realize they had shows? Is it like AC where people just fill a weekend or are there actual headliner shows?

Gold Strike has a show a few weeks in the summer. It's called Balagan and is a circus type show. Just got out if the show. It was good for what it is. Cheap entertainment.

Played a short session of craps on a choppy table. Down $45 for the trip.

Setting down to dinner, comped of course!! How can you feel bad about losing money when the comps are so good?? The big T is still a low roller paradise!!

The show was better than I expected. Lots of acrobatic type stunts you would see at a circus. It was billed as a hour and a half show but only lasted a hour and ten minutes. Overall it was good for the price ($18 a ticket including taxes and fees). Yes I actually paid for the tickets! The only thing so far that hadn't been comped!! I was going to upload a couple pics I took at the show but I don't have a good enough signal.

Another losing crap session after the show. This time I lost $62. So far the trip total is -$107.

I'm fixing to eat a comped steak dinner. So far a decent trip and there is still time for a comeback!!

It will be interesting to track the value of the comps and compare it to your play. How much have you received for free so far?

I wouldn't say it is overly crowded but there is probably twice as many here tonight as there was my last trip down a couple months back.

I had a bad run at the craps tables and lost another $100. Then bled a additional $100 on the Bac table. Trip is now -$310.

I received a $60 comp for dinner and have a additional $30 comp for the breakfast buffet in the morning. Also my wife is up $100 and we are playing on a joint account. So including her play we have lost a combined $210 and we have been comped $90 plus the nights stay is comped. Pretty good for a get away weekend. I'm probably done playing for the trip and I'll chalk this one up as a loss. Considering the comps we received I don't think we are doing to bad!!

I've read a few articles about joint player's accounts versus individual ones. I think the jury is still out because of the many factors involved. Thoughts anyone?

It's done nothing but cause me problems. I have had hosts do it without me asking. It's been an long time since I have had it happen and only a few places we are linked. But I can never seem to get it unlinked, no matter how many times I ask, and they say no problem.

-290 not counting the mrs though, correct? =p With all the 'equality' I'd imagine it's safe to say "her money is your money" too! Ha, I'm glad you at least poked a little win at craps. I hope the final session is a winner even though it sounds like you've had a great trip and a lot comped already!

Yes that is just counting my play. I played a last session that was going to be short but turned into about a four hour session. After all that time I broke even on that session. My wife lost $150 on that session so she couldn't help bail me out lol.

I seen one man lose several don't bets and then placed his entire stack on the don't, two $500 chips a huge stack of black and greens and capped with a few reds. It was on the come out and the next roll was a 12. Roll after that was a 2!! He scooped all his money up with shaking hands and begin to bet reds. I actually felt a little sorry for him. If it hurts you that bad don't play with it!!!
Another character joined the table and bought in for $4,500. I've never seen anyone play like he did. He placed $50 on the pass line with no odds. He lost and went to $100. He continued to martingale his pass line bet, never taking odds, untill he won. When he won he went back to a $50 pass line bet. If it won he would then place $100 on the don't. He was down to about $1000 in chips when we left.

We had a decent trip even if it was a losing one. I placed some of the highest bets I've ever made this trip and lost them all!! I had the 6 pressed to $30 four or five times but it never hit. I also lost a couple $30 and $40 don't pass bets. For a $5 red chipper that's a large bet to me.

I mentioned earlier in this thread that I played VP for the first time seriously. I've dropped a few dollars in a played a minute or two a couple other times but this time I played for over a hour. My most notable hand was four of a kind. I was also only playing for quarters. The meter got down to the credits I started with so I cashed out. The cash out ticket was for .5 more than I started with. I don't know how that happened lol.

We gained several points this trip and I'm looking forward to seeing if that effects our offers any.

Gold Strike was pretty full Thurs night. They had four craps tables going. Next door Horseshoe also had a decent crowd. I don't see how Roadhouse is even staying open. They where empty. Interestingly they have three craps tables, two being crapless. The crapless tables where both open but the regular table was closed. As far as I know this is the only Tunica casino to offer a crapless game at a $5 level. GS and HS both have crapless tables but they are always $10 or $25 minimums. Roadhouse is also home to the only 6:5 BJ game I noticed. It's a single deck game with a $5 minimum. Ironically the table had more players that the 3:2 show game did. RH also has the only csm for BJ of the three casinos and it's a $3 min game. I almost played the 6:5 game because I have never played single deck, but I just couldn't bring myself to do it.

Any DD BJ at GS or HS is a $25 minimum. GS did have a $10 DD game upstairs in the smoke free casino, but the last two times I have been to GS none of the tables in the smoke free section where open. GS also has a $5 min Bac table opened all the time. I lost $100 on it barely winning a single bet. It was brutal to me. When I left an Asian player set down and asked for two markers of 8 grand each. It's kind of strange here having that kind of action on a $5 min table. One guys betting a single red while the guy next to him is betting multiple blacks and at times even purple or orange chips. Yes I'm the guy betting a single $5 chip!!

Thanks for going along with me for this ride. If you have any questions ask and I'll try to answer the best I can. I'll leave you with a couple of pictures I couldn't get to upload earlier.

Symbols. You have to put an equal sign after,"img," and then a slash before the last, "img," but still inside the last pair of brackets.

Nice wrap-up!

Re: Roadhouse...yeah, that place isn't doing well either. It's a shame too because we love the rooms, and they have some good nickel VP choices, plus a 9/6 JoB 100-penny progressive. If that place would close, I dunno how I'd convince the g/f to go back to Tunica.

The only two casinos that aren't in any sort of trouble are likely Horseshoe and Gold Strike.

I checked out the VP at the bar at Roadhouse and it didn't seem that great. According to Wizards VP calculator it was 97%. That was all I located all trip. I didn't look at other machines at RH. I've just recently been interested in VP and I know very little about it. I'm still learning so I may have missed something.

The rooms where really good as always. Very clean. They do charge a resort fee if you pay for a room but they do not charge it to comped rooms.

Yes the show ended with the motorcycle ball of death. First one bike entered then two. After the second bike entered a lady came out and stood in the ball while they rode around her.
