Highlights thus far
Went up a quick 1k
The next shoe it went right back in ten hands
Dealer made 20 on first nine hands followed by a blackjack
Switched tables and got it back

Yeah the dealer was pushing my arm away yelling at me that photos www not allowed

Ace, you are a smart guy. I think it is time to do something different and fly somewhere else and play for a weekend. Tunica? Biloxi? Just go somewhere and try to change things up. The cost would be just a portion of your losses lately...

Had a few roller coaster shoes with a dealer I never played with but at least he was personable and talkative - very much roping for me (a few dealers today didn't even say hello

After a good start, followed by a horrendous middle, the closing sessions were good...building positivity for tomorrow to finally get out of this variance rut and actually start using the + sign on these trip reports again!!!!!

Ace I remember during some of your earlier trip reports I made a comment that it doesn't seem like you play a whole ton. Are you playing a lot more now or do you just post more of your sessions?

AOS, you need change of scenario. Like playing craps for a few minutes so you can refresh your mind. Spare say $500 and go to a crap table. Put $440 inside and stay for a few minutes. Then you go to to your beloved BJ.

Yes minor but for the year down 9x that - haven't had a winning trip in months and months - just seems positive variance is an urban legend

Yeah. I've been down $1800 in one shoe before with a $10-$80 spread. 30 minimum bets is nothing. Counters go through months of losing sometimes, and these are the ones that play every day. Not just on weekends here and there.

Maybe the black chip tables are broken. Head over to the red and green tables, see if you can get something going on. After some confidence building maybe you will find your old game again. In the meantime it should help clot the loss of blood.
You seem like you're on tilt and have been. I've rarely seen someone, at the poker table especially, chase losses expecting to recoup succeed. I believe you need to find a new beginning and start over with a fresh frame of mind.
Try setting some session goals. Lose no more than 5 units at a table. If you get up 5 units start again (i.e. up 7 lose 2 leave table 5 up, up 7 continuing you climb to 11 new stop loss is 10, etc.)
You are gambling and gambling is -EV, you have to remember that. This is probably none of my business but I hate hearing about these rough times for you and felt compelled to throw in my two cents.
