So my buddy and I both had a day off of work and we made a quick hit down to Rocky Gap, about an hour from home. We got there around 9:30 AM; one BJ table was open, and 3 card poker had one player. Played (very) low limit BJ for about a half hour until the craps table opened at 10.

We played craps from about 10:15 until noon, stopped for lunch, and went back afterward until about 3. We were by ourselves the entire time we were at the table, other than one additional player for about 20 minutes. Granted, it was mid morning on a weekday, but the place seemed dead (other than the craps table; we made plenty of noise, and the dealers were happy to join in). We lit it up for a while, then strayed over to the dark side when the table seemed to turn and we continued to mostly win. After lunch was more erratic, but I still finished about $200 to the good.

Highlights - hit the "Tall" and "Small" once each, and came within a yo of getting the "All"; no fire bet here. My friend hit four "3"s in a row, while we were both on center bets and pressing. Didn't see anything close to 17 yo's in a row. I had two 12s in a row while on the horn high 12, right before we left, but was too timid to press the first one - pretty much my whole profit for the day. Dealers were very attentive and friendly, and we were tipping early and often; one of them seemed kind of green to me (he got confused when we switched back and forth between "Pass/Come" and "DP/DC"), but my buddy noted that the guy has been there from the time the place opened. The box was on top of it, no mispays or disputes.

They do have hotel rooms and the setting is quite bucolic - mountains all around, lake right outside the resort, and (according to some friends) a challenging golf course. I stayed there for a meeting about 8 or 9 years ago, prior to the opening of the casino, and the rooms were Motel 6-ish; I would imagine that they've been upgraded since the casino has opened but I cannot offer an honest opinion as I have not seen them since my stay.

All in all, a decent quick hit, but not a place at which I would spend more than an afternoon or evening.
If government is the answer, it must have been a very stupid question.

it's a small place, with kind of a small table for craps too

Video poker OK but not best pay tables. Good BJ rules.
