Spent one night at Harrah's Cherokee last Wednesday.
Didnt spend much time in the room but it was large and clean with a good view of the mountains.
Had a nice two hour blackjack run - turning $500 into $1200 - then decided to hit the craps tables.
I walked up as a hot roll was ending and buy in anyway. Good table - crew was very good and the other players were all having a good time as well.
Every since I missed a 6 pt fire a few years back at Paris - I always make this bet.
Guy on other end of the table goes on a nice long roll - sets the 6 point (an 8) before he finally sevens out - as soon as he hits the 7 I look at the fire bet layout to see who else is on it and notice my red chip is gone! The crew didnt remember me making it - the lady next to me did - so we had some back and forth - nobody getting upset and I finally decided maybe I hadnt made the bet (had been drinking most of the day!)
So my plan was after I colored up at some point - I was going to ask a pit boss to check the tape.
About 15 minutes later while I was still playing my main man Rich walked up to me and said they had reviewed the tape - I was on the bet - and here is your $1250.
Sometimes Indian Casinos get a bad rap but I greatly appreciated the way they handled the entire matter - very professional and well done guys!!!

Great story. I mean, friggin' great story.
But what isn't clear is whether or not you asked them to review the tape yet.

Really pleased to hear they did right by you!
If the House lost every hand, they wouldn't deal the game.

Seems Cherokee is doing things right in the BJ pit too.
Wife and I were playing BJ on Sunday. $10 table.
I was seat 1, and had completed my hand
Wife was seat 2, and had completed her hand
Seat 3 had a 12 against the dealer's up card of 4.
Seat 4 had a 20.
Seat 5 had a 9 count, and had already put forward his double down bet.
Seat 6 had a 19.
Seat 3 was undecided, but the dealer got in a bit of a rush and drew the hit card, anticipating the player was going to hit.
The card was exposed as a Q.
At this point the player correctly said they had not indicated a hit, and the dealer agreed he had made a mistake.
The floor was called over, the situation was explained, and the floor made the following ruling in a split second;
The exposed card will be considered the next card out of the shoe, so the players had an advantage of knowing a 10 was coming.
Seat 3 was offered the card, and he declined to take the hit
Seat 4 declined.
Seat 5 already had decided to double, and knew they would get a 19, so they took the Q.
Dealer hole card was a 6, for a 10 count. Next card was a 5 for 15 count. Final card was another 5 for a 20, and the house still won all the bets, except for the Seat 4 push.
It was a friendly table, and it was interesting that the player in Seat 5 discussed pulling back his double, since the Q would then go to the dealer's 4 up card, which we hoped would make the dealer bust. But we all told him to play his double if he wanted, since he had made that decision prior to the exposure. In the end, we were destined to lose no matter what decision was made, since if Seat 4 had passed on taking the Q, the dealer would have still made 20.

If they didn't screw up, even better, but when they do, making it right and showing remorse and gratitude is necessary. Having something made up to you and then some means they're sorry and they have incentive to not repeat. This would be exceptional treatment.

Come on, Gordon, we need to hear how your Craps play went too! Don't try to claim you didnt play Craps!

Cliff Notes version:
Arrived Friday night, played craps for 4 hours on $15 table. Got rail up to up a little over 2800 on 800 buy-in. Lost 500 on 4 straight shooters and cashed out +1280.
Buy 4/10 progression was 25, 75, 150, 300, 500. Got to 500 once but did not get paid.
Place 6/8 progression was 30, 60, 90, 120, 150, 300, 600. Got to 300 level 3x, never got paid.
No Fire bets made on Friday.
Personally, I had good rolls on Friday. Made 3 or 4 points on each roll, and was rolling box numbers.
Sat and Sun got killed! All gone and boatload more. I personally had at least 7 PSO rolls. Brutal. Only point I made on Saturday I had decided to play the DP, and max my odds. EGAD.
4 point Fire made on Sunday, but I was late to the table and missed it. Also missed a 5 point roll later that night.
Had one roll on Sunday where I set the 5 point, and then proceeded to roll every box number exactly twice, but never hit the point. I know I hit the Tall (they don't have the bet). I know I rolled a 2 but I'm not sure if I rolled a 3.
Played BJ for about 8 hours on Sunday with my wife. We ended up ahead a couple hundred.
I also ventured into the high limit room again. They have removed the UltimateX machine I hit on before. :-(
I put 200 into a $1 Winning Streak Poker machine, and when I hit a 5 winning streak that ended with trip As on the 10X, I cashed out for $343.

I believe I saw some $50 tables, but I was not looking closely. Also, I have no idea what the high limit BJ rules where.
Only played the one $1 slot for about 15 minutes.

Interestingly enough I just missed out on a 5 pt fire about an hour before the one I was on
After blackjack I decided to take a piss break and walk around for a minute before heading to the craps tables
As I walked up shooter had just hit her third point - I made some money on the back end of her hand but that was an expensive piss
