There is already a lively discussion about the time zone issue at Diversity Tomorrow, if you're looking to waste time on something.
I thought it was nice they had good, solid blackjack games in most of the casinos. Agree about the "resort" moniker on the scrub desert casino.
Minutae: where you talk about having a bad back, the plural of mattress is mattresses (when you talked about hotel beds in general). Didn't see any other typos.
Insignificant correction: In the Pony Express section you list them as having Super Double Bonus 7/5 paying 98.61%. 7/5 SDB is 97.77%, the 98.61% figure is for 7/5 SDDB.Quote: WizardAll comments, questions, and especially corrections are welcome.

Cactus Pete's has dollar NSUD. It's a slightly positive play with the card. My buddy Al stops into Jackpot on his way between Montana and Las Vegas or Montana and Reno. It's his R & R stop for the trip. He gets comped for the meals and the hotel. He also gets freeplay in $150 lumps. I believe he times his visits to arrive on Saturdays so he can playoff $150 in freeplay on Saturday then gets another $150 after midnight. He last stopped in on his way to the WSOP. And is supposed to stop back in on his way back to Montana. He put his Cactus Pete's casino host up for a couple of nights at Boulder Station so the guy could play an event at the WSOP.

Do you want corrections on your other articles? If so, where? Insignificant corrections on the Amaya article: You should probably clarify that the wrong advice for 17 vs 7 was for a soft 17, and you have the All American VP payout details under the title "Amaya Software - Tens or Better".
It wasn't enough to get room comp but the old Wagon Wheel Hotel (now defunct) was just $20 a night. I used the comp for meals.
By the early 2000's the Williams machines and the FPDW were gone but I did pretty good on the IGT Visions machines known as Good Times. They had quarter, 50 cent and dollars. And several other quarter Visions.
One of my memorable moments there was when the Parrotheads, a Jimmy Buffet cover band showed up. After their first show the lead singer thought he could match me downing shots. The next nights show was cancelled because of it.
The problem for a hustler with Jackpot is there is to much standing around watching the paint dry. Quarter FPDW doesn't have much of an hourly rate to it. I never could stand more than a week there.

Thank you for the correction, I just fixed it.

In the past I noted the best video poker in such articles, quoting vpfree2. However, that information gets outdated so quickly that I decided I wouldn't do so this time.
Overall a city of good blackjack rules (nary a single 6-5 table that I could see).

For old articles, please PM me corrections. When people put them in a post I usually don't see it. Contrary to what people seem to think, I read only about 5% of the posts here.
Thank you for the Amaya corrections.
Quote:First of all, I don't care for the spelling. I guess Binion's in Vegas has a copyright on the correct spelling of the word horseshoe.
I think you mean CET has that copyright, not Binion's these days.

I don't think that you can copyright a word.
Trademark, maybe.
But based on your closing remarks, I would make a point to stop in IF I am ever in the area (which I guess is not very likely):
"I would also like to put in a great word for the staff. A friendlier casino in Nevada, I've never experienced, and I've experienced almost all of them. From the hotel registration, to table game dealers, to waitresses, to the gift shop saleswoman, everybody I met was genuinely friendly. The kind of friendliness you seem to find only in small towns. It was a very refreshing change to the, at best, fake friendliness often encountered in Vegas casinos."
