Hello everyone,

I'd like to make a trip report request. Has anyone signed up yet for NJ online gaming and can we have a comparison report versus going to the casinos physically? I'd like to know how you feel about it compared to actually being in a casino. Couple of miscellaneous questions:

1.) Do you game in your underwear at home? Do you game at home or maybe at a Starbucks? Does location make much of a difference now if you had to make along commute to get to a physical casino?

2.) Are there any comps for playing online gaming in NJ? How's the rating? Obviously no waitress walking around to give you a beverage. Do you just reach into your fridge instead?

3.) Are the gaming companies using seductive looking dealers to mimic pseudo realistic feel for the online gaming sites?

4.) How does the feel differ from say playing a video poker/BJ/slot machine in a casino physically?

5.) Do you distrust the random generator enough to swap out online gaming for going back into a real casino after trying it?

6.) What online NJ sites are you rating as the best for comps vs user experience?

7.) How are you funding your account? I thought there were restrictions on credit card transfers. Are you doing bank wires instead?

1. At home. Usually if I am bored and don't feel like going to a live casino.
2. It may depend on the Casino, I tend to use Tropicana online as that is the Casino I frequent and they don't link up comps directly with your main player account but you can earn boinceback points and sometimes random promotions, nowhere as good as comps at the actual casino. Other companies may be different but I have not done a ton of research.
3. No, no dealers not in any of the ones I have tried. The game just deals itself.
4. Video Poker and slot machines feel identical. BJ and Baccarrat and Roulette feel pretty close as close as it gets on a computer.
5. No it is heavily regulated and is as fair as a deck shuffle (maybe more fair since there can be no dealer mistakes).
6. Not really sure how to compare comps. Honestly not something I looked to much into though probably should. I like Tropicana because it has a very easy nice interface and I have never had any issues with tech problems on there or trying to get on.
7. I did bank transfer, but you can use credit cards or some offer gift card type thongs you can buy. Also you can physically go to the cashier and put money on your account when you at the actual casino which may be the fastest option if you live close to AC.

I still prefer going to a live casino by a long shot. Mostly because of the social aspects, and the AC casinos have my favorite , and the comps etc.... But purely for gambling the NJ online casinos are very great, I have no complaints.
