On my recent trip to northern NV, I stayed a night at Harvey's in Lake Tahoe. Harvey's and Harrah's both have a 1-3-5 pay table on their 3 card poker bonus bets. 1-4-6 used to be the standard, then it was 1-3-6. Here in MN, most houses are at 1-4-5 (slightly better than 1-3-6). A 1-3-5 paytable has at-best a 10% edge (I didn't notice if there was a mini royal payout or not). That's excessive even for Caesars Entertainment...

You sure that wasn't the ante bonus pay table? 1-3-5 for the pairplus is really bad. People would notice and might actually care.

Maybe I'm wrong. Perhaps an area resident or frequent visitor can verify?

Hollywood in Harrisburg PA has 1/3/5/25/35. That's truly pathetic... that people keep playing the game.

That's really sad. I stopped playing Three Card when everybody went to the 1-3-6 payout. It used to be in Tunica everybody had 1-4-6 and it was a fun game that you had a chance of coming out ahead every once in a while.
Unfortunately, I'm not surprised... remember, this is the same company that's offering a Million Dollar Payout on a 20%+ HE bet and that bet is getting more and more play. Most players don't care... they could go to 1-2-4 and people would still shell out the bucks for it.

12.8% house edge, that's just taking the proverbial.
