Next class starts on Monday.
I'm taking craps if only for the fact I haven't heard anyone suggest I take anything other than craps. The course runs 5 days per week, 4 hours per day, for 8 weeks. Since I enrolled and since I've never played craps, I've spent time playing on line and reading as much as I can.
I'm hoping for the best.
What's good about the timing of the clase (mid day) is that I'll be able to continue practicing dealing blackjack while learning how to deal craps.
Like before, any comments are greatly appreciated

Playing craps online is no help to learning to play the game live. I imagine it's even less help to learning to deal it.
At the very least, watch an active table for a while, trying to soak up the lingo and observe the procedures. Sure, they'll teach you all that stuff, but I'd say it would be better to at least have some experience observing it live first.
Just remember one thing: Craps players are the most superstitious bunch you'll find. So watch, but stay out of the way before you get blamed for the 7-out.

Agree. Go to a casino and watch a craps game.
Learn how to handle chips (checques)...whatever.
Learn the payouts... its great to be able to deal BJ but a craps dealer can be of real value to a casino that wants to get a crew together and get a table opened.
