Hello everyone, tonight I quickly made a demo for the game Six Card Poker on my table games website. You can play it here. Has anyone come up with a more advanced strategy than the intermediate strategy on the Wizard of Odds website?

I noticed that the side bet pay tables found on the Sycuan Casino's website are different from the Wizard of Odds' website. I calculate the house edge on their two way bad beat to be ~0.15% higher and the house edge on their Aces Up is about 1% lower than the Wizard of Odds pay tables. I included both on my website.

As a side note, I noticed that Sycuan Casino has a game called Double Hand Baccarat which I have never heard of. Has anyone heard of it or analyzed it?

Have a good night!

Well obviously in Six Card Poker you should fold a pair when Dealer is showing the same pair as you but with a lower kicker such as:

Player: AA- 7632

Dealers board: AA-6

even though a rigorous adherence to the intermediate strategy would suggest one should make a Play bet.

There will probably be several such exceptions. It's fun to try to conjure up what they might be.

I haven't done the math yet but I wonder if you fold an underpair vs a SF draw such as in this extreme situation:

Player: 2d2c-7h5d4c

Dealer: QsJsTs

I refer to this as an extreme situation because the players pair is as weak as possible (22 pair) and the player's hand is defined to have no flush-blockers or straight-blockers.
