Casino in Mexico (table games not open when I was there).
Looks like Trips is the lousy 7/6/5 version with usual short pay on quads.
Blinds: Royal is 250:1 instead of 500:1
But there's an 'Ante bonus'. There's no circle for it.
Comes free with ante bet to make up for the short changed Royal???
Ante pays 4:1 for trips, and 5:1 for something called 'colored ladder'?
So how bad is the basic game with just betting ante + blinds compared to standard USA version?

I would assume that dealer would need to qualify (and player's hand must win) for the Ante Bonus to pay? Even so, 4:1 payout for trips on the Ante Bet seems like an outrageously large ΔEV for the player. I haven't done any math yet, but I'm expecting its in the ballpark of +0.3 units in EV. That can't be correct??!!!?
I haven't found anything about what a colored ladder is. Could this be a translation error for a straight flush?

I think so.
I see these terms listed as alternate nomenclature over on Las Apuestas.

Am I wrong and assuming this is not UTH, but rather a variation of 3CP?

The Ante Bonus and term "Pair Plus" (sidebet), together with what looks like typical payout structue, does look like 3CP. I'm guessing from the "=" they're asking that you also make the other bet which pays the Right Hand Column.

Yes, that makes sense. Especially for a 4:1 ante payout on trips, lol

I've never played but this is the layout i'm used to for 3cp:
and The Trips payout is almost identical to UTH.
ahh.. if it's like 3cp, then you're dealt 3 cards and Trips/Straight Flush ante payout must be in your hand and not use the dealer's cards?
So this Mexican casino is combining 3cp and UTH?
Anyone calc the house edge And element of Risk?

in Three Card Poker the Ante Bonus pays win or lose.

In my experience playing Three Card Poker, I've noticed that the Ante Bonus pays out whether I win or lose the game. This means that even if I don't beat the dealer's hand or decide to fold, I can still receive a payout if I have a qualifying hand. I think this is a unique feature of Three Card Poker that makes it more exciting and potentially rewarding than other casino games. However, I also know that the payout for the Ante Bonus is smaller than the payout for the main game, so it's important to balance my bets accordingly. Overall, I find the Ante Bonus to be a fun and profitable addition to Three Card Poker.
