Well, let's see some real casino action if you're bored.
Quote: OnceDearQuote: DieterQuote: ChumpChangeI hadn't noticed the videos were play money. I can't read the chips too closely to see if a casino was mentioned on them. There's nothing in the channel description that says it's play money. Seems like a baseless accusation. Maybe the dealer's hands are different in different videos (psst, maybe they aren't)?
I guess playing blackjack for YouTube is for entertainment purposes whether it's played with real chips or fake chips, but don't bet at home what the next card is gonna be, the video is already finished.

The channel description does say "for entertainment purposes only".
The immediate clues that it wasn't a live table:
Wrong kind of chip tray
No drop slot/paddle
Missing table ID markings
Wrong kind of shoe
Wrong kind of discard tray
Wrong kind of cards
"Home" type layout
Atypical dealer procedure (sweep)
... but I only watched for a minute, so I probably missed something.
(I keep thinking of all the other things I didn't list... can you find at least 4 other clues?)

How about..... "Dear casino, please may I maintain a tripod mounted camera above my head, showing your totally unbranded table and chips. May I further publish that on a monetized YouTube channel without giving your organisation so much as a shout out? Oh.... And I won't be tipping or drinking."

(pencil scribbles on list)
Quote: ChumpChangeAt least they pay 3:2 on a BJ which is a lot more than I can say about most faux-casinos in Vegas.

It doesn't matter what the payout odds are if you can't cash your chips.

But it is an advantage play if you can just forget about losing sessions.
Actually, it's a real advantage play for the channel owner who risks nothing and gets paid Youtube commissions.

Well, with upwards of 7000 subscribers, hopefully they can soon recover the $200 or so invested in a Brybelly home blackjack set.
(I think I'm slipping. It took way too long to identify the cards, but they did match the plastics and at least one style of their layout. I'm curious where they got the peek contraption; they seem to be in short supply these days, and it is not a style I instantly recognize.)

Hey now, the chips are branded... they're from the Monte Carlo Poker Club, also available from Brybelly!

Edit: Fixed the link... I hope.
So I found the chips from my original post here.
