So, in AZ (pay table is 1,3,6,30,40), they are now not letting players touch the cards because of covid. So, they expose each hand in turn, the player makes a decision to play or not, then on to the next player. They only allow 4 hands to be played. I've found if I play 3rd base, then I will have seen TWELVE cards before deciding if I wanna play or not. I'm betting huge numbers on the ante and everyone is surprised when I make "hero" calls. BUT, if I've already seen 2 Kings 2 aces, and a queen ... Then I don't care what I have. I'll play regardless, because the probability of the dealer qualifying plummets. I've been refining my numbers, but I would LOVE some math on what edge this gives me and ideal play strategy. TIA.

It's also saving me. If I haven't seen a single dealer qualifying card, and I just have a wimpy queen, I probably won't play.

Yes, having 12 extra cards of knowledge is fantastic. I don't know if it will cover the house edge, but it will definitely lower the house edge.
At my age, a "Life In Prison" sentence is not much of a deterrent.

Computer perfect strategy changes using the additional 9 cards of info will reduce the house edge from 3.37% to 3.03% according to Grosjean. If you can find a 12 handed table dealt faceup then you can start generating a player edge.

For clarification - the best situation (based off casino traffic) is for there to be three players in front of me giving me twelve cards of information, not twelve hands.

Yeah, I can count on zero hands the number of twelve handed 3CP tables I've seen in my life.

It's still a losing game, and it's going away quickly. Many casinos are back to dealing the cards face down now, and going back to 4/5/6 seats per table.
