Why is the tone of your voice apparently belittling the man?
i dont give a shit if i get banned for this but this is literally the one reason why i wont respond to text messages from my own girlfriend. if she wants to have a conversation i will have it with her face to face.
You know what i dont like the tone of your message. Me personally, I dont like the tone of your message. Now i bet you didnt think "is this message just personally offending me?" or did you just think whoever they are talking about is not strong enough to stick up for themselves and you thought that you would just think for them as well. What if they dont give a shit - and here you are defending a ghost - who we still dont even know is alive.
And here comes donna - from florida. just another oddly plain jane name - from florida. WHO DO YOU KNOW IS FROM FLORIDA AND ALWAYS HAS ODDLY PLAIN NAMES.
Can anyone advise whether John Patrick is still with us, or whether he's gone to the great publishing house in the sky?
His most recent online posting that I can find is one on his Facebook page that is a little over a year old. At the time I think he would have been around 86-87 years old. Both of the domains he had registered no longer have any of his material at the end of them (in actual fact , the domain detailed on his LinkedIn page, looks to have lapsed and has now been registered by someone else).
That is not my Uncle John! He is alive, up there in age but funny as ever! He lives in Florida! Any questions about John Patrick feel free to email me! dmgambe@ya[email address slightly disrupted]hoo.com Thank you
I appreciate you making the effort to create a WoV account so you could update everyone. Welcome! I have no idea how you found out about our discussion, but your news made my day.
When I first started playing craps, your uncle's books were everywhere, and I enjoyed his books on craps. He had strong opinions about many gaming subjects, such as regressing a win bet rather than pressing the win amount. No, it doesn't guarantee winning more money, but I have found it sometimes helps me to play longer. Also, he explained each and every bet in great detail. When I was a new player, John Patrick took me on a detailed tour of the game I was trying to learn. His simple, direct writing style was easy -- and fun -- to read.
The show was super cheesy, but also good, and entertaining. I liked the man.
Of course, it wasn't worth the $10 price tag each week. I was able to watch for free via a cheater box so I never missed an episode.
