Please forgive me as I can't easily find the original thread about this.
Essentially it's 3-card poker except the dealer shows one of their cards. The downside is there are no bonus payouts and Ante isn't always paid if the Dealer doesn't qualify. This game is described at https://wizardofodds.com/games/face-up-three-card-poker/
I've had a quick look at it and used various possible rules.
If dealer does not qualify, Player win pays Ante, Player lose Ante pushes.
I get a House Edge of 4.296% and, I've only looked at dealer's 2, agree with wizard - except 9 8 3s folds, but 9s 8 3 or 9 8s 3 plays, similarly with 984. You fold about 25.23% of your hands.
If dealer does not qualify, Player win pays Ante, Player lose Ante loses.
I get a House Edge of 4.598% and you fold more hands (e.g. vs 2 fold T97 and lower except T9x with two matches and T92).
If dealer does not qualify and the Ante is always paid, I get a House Edge of 1.802%. The strategy for this is basically play against any J or lower otherwise you need A9x, K9x, Q9x against A K or Q. Strangely I would have thought this could be a better game for the casual player (who usually plays Blind and so will be nearer to the correct strategy.
