Discovered that this game at the Eldorado in Reno is all done by hand. Not only do they shuffle by hand they also burn the cards each time. I actually lost on my session. I find that shuffling by hand is a faster game than having the machines, even when they use two decks. Plus you never have to worry about the machine malfunctioning. Also the dealers keeps their own tips, it’s not pooled.

May I ask how they hand shuffled? At hobbyist (non-casino) game sites I hang out at the conventional wisdom is that seven riffles are need to sufficiently randomize a standard deck of cards. Of course this is for home gaming where time is not of the essence and money is not involved. Dealer "how to" videos, by contrast, often show a wash followed by two riffles, a box, a final riffle and a cut. Assuming no big clumps in the riffles, were you satisfied as to the deck's randomness?

It's weird even asking this question. The 21st century eh?
Have you tried 22 tonight? I said 22.

There is an industry standard when it comes to shuffling poker decks. I'm not a dealer so I'm not positive on the sequence. I use to know it as two of my former GF were poker dealers. The more important question would be if I could request a scramble
