Snake eyes takes out all the stable craps bets and leaves the player with only the sucker bets. Of course, they would probably sell it as taking out all the complicated bets and leaving only the easy ones to understand.
With the introduction out of the way, please have a look at my new page on Snake Eyes. As always, I welcome all questions, comments, and especially corrections.
The question for the poll is would you play Snake Eyes?
...I've got an idea for a game as well. Everyone just give me $100 and every now and then I'll give someone $500, whenever I feel like it. The game will be called Non-Consensual Action. Come take a chance at winning big!

That's called "the lottery." Haha!
Quote: RomesSo the field bet at 5% is the 'best' bet in the game? All the others are around 18-20% HE?
Actually, it gets as bad as 22%, on the hard 4 and hard 10 bets. The usual American 7 to 1 odds, for a house edge of 11.1%, were too generous so they lowered them to 6.
Field This single-roll bet pays 3-1 on a total of 12 2, 1-1 on totals of 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, and 12, and loses on all others.

Thank you.

Someone has to throw this Vegas Vacation clip in this thread, so I'll do it! 😆

Field: That first 12 in the field should be 2.Quote:Field This single-roll bet pays 3-1 on a total of 12, 1-1 on totals of 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, and 12, and loses on all others.
...
12 This single-roll bet pays 30-1 on a total of 2 and loses on all others.
12: Shows it paying on a 2. Should be 12.
You totally missed the Any 7.
Ignoring the horrendous edge, I have issues with the general design.
It is trying to be a simplified version of craps rather than being a simple dice game.
It uses the term craps. Why? This game is NOT craps. Dont confuse things by using that name as a bet option - particularly when you put 11 in that group! And then further confuse things by having a C+E bet? WTF???
I have other issues with this game. And its making me think about a really good simplified dice game.
Ill submit a write up in a day or two
EDITED TO ADD: Only problem is nobody would be betting it.
Quote: DJTeddyBearA couple typos from the rules.

Thank you for those corrections.
Quote: WizardofnothingHere was a dealer that Invneted a game called hops and props - it ran as a courtesy Im sure at sugarhouse for a while- the dealer worked there- I think it was almost the same game
As long as the games are almost the same, I threw together a quick page on Props and Hops. I welcome all comments and corrections.
Quote: Wizardofnothing, it was installed 100 percent as a favor to the dealer
That's how many field trial games get their first install.

Thanks; that's strange. Thank goodness for the back button. I just reposted it -- Snake Eyes.
BTW, the $5 craps table ($3 US) has something called Blackjack Plus (I think). Dealer hits on hard/soft 16, even odds on blackjack and all winning hands are a push if the dealer has 22. Haven't looked for the odds, but I'm guessing that moves things significantly in the direction of the house. Then again, there's no tipping in NZ casinos (or restaurants or hotels or anyplace else). They have strict minimum wage laws so service workers get a livable wage and don't expect tips. It's allowed in other places so of course the wait staff, cab drivers and bellmen appreciate it when given a couple of dollars. But the casinos post that tipping is not allowed.
"Hard 10 This multi-roll bet pays 6-1 if a hard* 4 is rolled before an easy** 10 or total of 7."
The 4 should be a 10.

Thank you.
