I enjoy playing Let It Ride and the W of O strategy makes sense to me. However, I sense that, in LV casinos, if you let the first bet ride the casino then "forces" you to let all the bets ride.

For example, say I am dealt 3 to a royal flush. I would clearly let the first bet ride. But if the first community card does not give me 4 to a royal flush, most likely I'd want to pull back the second bet. Except, I was forced to lay my hand on my chips after letting the first bet ride, and I get the impression that I don't have a choice in the matter and am, thus, out my 2nd bet, whether or not I wanted to be.

It's not as big a deal if I pull back the first bet and then go for something with the remaining two bets (e.g. 4 to a flush after the first community card). All the simulators allow you to let it ride for bet 1, and pull back bet 2.

So my questions are:
1) Can the casino "force my hand" and make me let it ride for all 3 bets, even if I let it ride on only the first bet?
2) If yes, how does this change the strategy of when to pull back a bet and when to let it ride? I would think it then only makes sense to let it ride on the first bet if you have a winning hand (high pair or trips)?

Thanks from a new member!

You will not find a casino that forces you to let the 2nd wager ride if you let the first one ride. That is not part of the rules of the game. If for some reason you ever have someone tell you that, run away as fast as you can.
