As the late Chip Reese would say, "I can't believe you're not gonna take a shot!"
First dealer card was a 10D. Other two were crap. So close, I'm sure the closest I'll ever see.
The pit boss joked that she was glad the guy didn't hit because it would be too much paperwork. The guy didn't like the joke much and quietly let out an F You under his breath.
Quote: billionairebenThat sucks to pay the side bet, and the dealer not qualifying killed it. That's why I don't play 3cp. Even if you see a hc, it's still a slow game where you hope to win half a bet on the dealer not qualifying. UTH is better.
Side bets are supposed to pay whether the dealer qualifys or not.
Quote: gamerfreakI saw someone dealt JD KD QD in AC. That's 3 to a diamond super royal which is worth $1mil since he was playing the side bets.

Maybe the diamond super royal is worth 1M in AC still, but CET quit that promo most properties last year, and all suits are worth 100k.
Was playing at the table next to 3CP tonight and a lady got the Royal for 5 k. She had the jqkd, and the a-t were in the 6 card hand. So a nice score.

Yea it's still a thing in AC, interesting they discontinued the promo elsewhere though. I wonder if anyone hit.
Quote: chaunceyb3Jackpot still unclaimed as of Friday morning. I took my $1K shot at it, but now it is time to say goodbye to... "the wonder of it all".
A couple weeks ago when I was at NYNY, the progressive was up to $450,000. Does anybody know if their game has any added conditions to inflate that number?
Quote: gamerfreakAt some point that progressive has to become EV+ with a huge variance, no?
Not counting taxes, it is +EV. This particular one is a $5 progressive instead of the usual $1. Need AKQ of spades to win it. It looks like version 2.
From WoO:
"The return depends on the jackpot amount and number of other players. To be specific, it is 54.39%, plus 4.52% for each $1,000 in the jackpot, and 0.79% per number of other players. To break even the meter needs to be $10,800, less $175 for each other player."
So the break even on the $5 version pictured should be $54,000.

As of a few weeks ago, the million 6 card bonus has been hit about 15 times nationwide over 5 years. Not sure how exactly how many in AC, at least a few. The last two hits came on the same day! July 10th. I estimate that's about 6.1% likely to happen given the lifetime of the wager if it hits about 3 times annually.

I was at Mohegan Sun a few weeks back talking to a dealer.
He said at one point their 3CP progressive was over 100K and people were lined up for seats 24/7 to get on the table until it hit.
