Where I play cards there is a blackjack table that uses 6 decks of cards and each player can play 2 hands. Along with your standard bet, there is also a side bet for Pairs Plus bets. This uses your two cards and the dealer's face up card. The pay out for the Pairs Plus is: 40-30-20-4-3-1. To the best of my knowledge this is the same payout on their 3 card poker Pairs Plus bet. My questions is: Are your odds better because you playing with multiply decks of cards? Also can anyone break down the odds for this bet?
Thanks

3 of a kind.
You posted this question twice on here. Please don't do that. I'm going to remove my response from the other thread, bring your original question from there along with it, and delete the duplicate thread.

I've been reading many threads, and have a question to ask.
Where I play cards there is a blackjack table that uses 8 decks of cards and each player can play 2 hands. Along with your standard bet, there is also a side bet for Pairs Plus bets. This uses your two cards and the dealer's face up card. The pay out for the Pairs Plus is: 40-30-6-4-1. To the best of my knowledge this is the same payout on their 3 card poker Pairs Plus bet. My questions is: Are your odds better because you playing with multiply decks of cards? Also can anyone break down the odds for this bet?
Thank you

I took another look at the Black Table last night and they play with 6 decks and the pay outs are 40-30-20-4-3-1.

40 being a miniroyal? I'm assuming so.
I was going to say that multideck PP with the pay table you first noted might have been +EV, certainly better than single deck HE.
This pay table shaves every pay from single deck except the bottom (the pair). (MiniRoyal is usually 50-1 if they separate it from the SF pay). It's a terrible pay table if the game were single deck, but might be ok for 6 deck; I'm not sure how to process it.
