At the casino I frequent, one guy always call the 1-4 the "one-eyed chicken". Anyone know why or what that means?

Never heard of that one.
Some of those calls can be entertaining if I'm walking by but if I have money on the table I don't really want comedy or atleast I don't want excessively annoying comedy.
I once heard a "stick chick" calling out an enticement for the players to get 'sucker bets, B&D bets, S&M bets' and a few other bets that don't exist but had some sexual overtones to them. I don't think anyone even noticed.

Is it just me, or has anyone noticed, when 7-out is called, it's almost like the stickman has a sad tone?

Unless there is a table full of "don't" players, a 7-out is unlikely to result in very many tokes. Perhaps that could be the reason? More likely just an attempt to imply solidarity with the players, which in itself could be for the purpose of tokes.Quote: TIMSPEEDIs it just me, or has anyone noticed, when 7-out is called, it's almost like the stickman has a sad tone?

On a 3-2 "Five, Franco Five!" since here in Pittsburgh half the town can still name the 1970s Steeler Players
On a 4-4 "Eight, Viagra eight!" Good for a "what did he say?" from players half paying attention.
"Eight, Like the ladies like" (Obvious)
5-3/6-2 "Eight comes easy, nice and sleazy" Just because it rhymes.
Before the throw--"Dice out, watch your mittens, kittens!"
Seven out-line away, don'ts to pay, last come gets some!"
diedealer.com has some that should not be used before midnight, no matter if the casino doesn't allow kids to even enter the "pathway."

I would kill to hear some clever craps calls. Every craps stick I've played with is incredibly boring. If I have to hear, "Seven Out, Line Away, Pay the Don'ts, Take the Line, Last Come Gets Some," one more time I'm going to kill myself. (Okay, I know that's a standard call and helps the dealers, but can we be a little creative with things?)

It could be that their shift managers take the "don't offend anyone" method that makes for a boring business. Or their could be other reasons. My example above "Franco Five" is an example. Our instructor told us how when he dealt he used some form of "OJ 5" when the trial was going on. Then he said maybe think of using "Franco Five" in this town. He was clear that he liked what you said--people want interesting stick calls. Later he said we could use "Franco Five" in class but not on the floor until we were told we could sine the casino was trying to get an endorsement deal with him and even that could be use w/o permission.
I use it at Monte Carlo Nights since an advantage there is you don't need to worry about such nonsense. In fact I am leaving in a few minutes to deal and will work some of these calls in.
