Does anyone know the burn cards and cut card depth of the Wizards sample game?
Is there a "for fun" online baccarat game where those are configurable?
Thanks

I need your an expert help regarding Baccarat cut card position 14+ for 8 decks Baccarat
Why 14 and not less? Where "14" comes originally? Do you have a credible source?
casino regulators rules:
§ 631a.5. Shuffle and cut of the cards.
…After shuffling the cards
The dealer shall then insert the second cover card in a position at least 14 cards above the bottom of the stack. The stack of cards shall then be inserted into the dealing shoe for commencement of play.

I’d rather have to be a lucky player than good one.

I think it's just a tradition.

Wizard Thanks
for the magic "14" tradition explanation
Here is the risk of card counters. (Online Baccarat -8 decks with the History recording and card display. Single player mode)
Example: In an 8 deck shoe there are 128 ‘10’ cards (10, J, Q, K). A player can play through many shoes playing small bets until a shoe presents itself where the last 30-50 cards are all (or mostly) 10 value cards, then the likelihood of ties greatly increases. When this situation exists the player bets large amounts on the 8 to 1 odds of a tie to complete the exploit.
".....at least 14 cards deep...."
I would think the two deck about 92-112 random is least vulnerable?

I claim no special Baccarat knowledge, so this may or may not be relevant.
Consider this situation: The Dealer starts to deal a hand and the second card ready to come out of the shoe is the "second cover card," indicating this is the last hand of the shoe. At most, 9 more cards will play to finish the hand.
I think the "14" might be a "safe" number to be sure a hand in progress can finish properly. As I said, YMMV.
