I have seen several posts where players have mentioned ordering food in high limit rooms. One poster said he could order food from any restaurant in the cosmopolitan when playing in the Talon room. Another poster mentioned ordering food from a butler in the mansion. Has anybody done this or know what high limit rooms offer such a service.

I do not frequent hi-roller rooms often, but in my experience, they all offer that, though they do seem to prefer you move to a table set up for eating (often a room service cart they've brought in, sometimes a banquet table off to the side) rather than trying to eat while playing. But, if you insist, I have seen them deal to people with a sandwich in one hand and chips in the other.

In London, they will set up a little table for food right at your elbow and serve you at the table on the main casino floor. I saw that in 3 different casinos there. I have only seen that a few places in the US, and not lately.
If the House lost every hand, they wouldn't deal the game.

I've seen many players eating food (with a table/cart) on the main floor, at barona.

Given that the sandwich was supposedly invented to allow the Earl to continue gambling while eating, it's kind of an interesting twist that you're usually not allowed to eat them at tables...

I saw this at El Cortez about 3 months ago. It was anything but the high-limit table.....It was a $3 minimum game...lol.

Seems kind of sleazy to me. Chips are already very dirty filthy things, that are being handled by multitudes of people. Let's add in some lame ass, EATING at the table. :(

Also, on most holidays, El Cortez, brings around plates of burger sliders to patrons playing tables as well as machines.

That's 100 percent accurate in the talon room upstairs from the main casino floor ... I have gotten good from stk and the burger place- guess it's the reward for 500 minimum per hand
The bet will not be paid- not now not ever

Not high limit at all, but at the 4Q once I saw a woman eating what seemed to be a to-go meal from a restaurant at the bubble craps machine. She was playing, and even got a drink from a waitress. No one told her anything about it.

Come to think of it, I've never seen any signs about food in the casino.
