I was wondering if you could use a bit of patience to gain a (slight) advantage over basic strategy in 3 card poker.
Specifically, if at a full table could you delay slightly to act last and use the behavior of the other players to gain information that would allow you to change basic strategy. The simplest example is if you are at a full table (and you make the assumption the others are at least playing queen or better if not perfect strategy) and the 5 people before you all fold, this should increase the likelihood that the dealer will have a strong hand. Therefore, in this case, would it be optimal to fold hands above Q64? And if so by how much? And would much or any advantage be gained over basic strategy.

Full-table collusion strategy still yields a house edge over 2%.Quote: piisrealI was wondering if you could use a bit of patience to gain a (slight) advantage over basic strategy in 3 card poker.
