I go to casinos to beat the games; no money, no go.

UC brings up an interesting point.....I would think this would be a win/win for the casino and players, but I may be wrong.
Casino gets feedback on what their player's like before taking on the cost of educating the deal staff/survellance etc. on a new game, signing up for a lease, etc. It is easy to see what is in it for them in an event like this. The cost is some labor (maybe.....they likely have the inventors/distributors dealing the games).
Players get to learn/experience a bunch of new games at no financial risk and decide what they like and have a chance to win $100 in the drawing. Remember, most of their players are not regulars at G2E and may have no idea what type of games are out there beyond their local market. But, for many, this may not be enough of a draw.....like UC said, no money to win means, no trip to casino.
But, if this format isn't right, what would be a good format for you to come out and try one or more new games?
Other ideas I have thought about would be low buy in tournaments at each new game table.
You could do a $10 buy in from each player at the table and then have them play 15 hands and top 2 or 3 players split the $60-$70 buy in. Low financial risk vs. no financial risk, and a chance to win at each table. You could run each game for 15 minutes and then have folks switch to the next game. (I think the problem with this type of arrangement is all the games would have to be licensed or approved in the jurisdiction if real money was at stake)
What would would be a fair trade off in dollars/experience that would entice you to come out to your local casino and give your feedback on new games they were considering?

All casino games are stupid. If it wasn't for money, there would be no reason to play them. There are way more ways to spend quality time than in a casino. No thanks on free play without chance to win free money.

This sounds like a great idea. I'm sure the intent is just a fun event for people locally to come see all the fun table games while you get an idea of what might find a home in your casino. For any game inventors or table game directors it would be a chance to see how players take to games they haven't seen before. Short trip from Minnesota so I will try to make it...

Thought I would see how this event turned out. Were there any clear favorites? Sorry I didn't make it as it wasn't the best weather to drive 5-6 hours...
