Well the article asnwers the question of who was at fault. It states the Casino (most likely the Table Games Manager) filed the rules incorrectly from what SHFL recommends.

Just reading this thread made me envious. The closest thing I've ever seen to the house making this big a mistake was Delaware Park when they first added table games. They allowed surrender and would let you take back YOUR WHOLE BET...this only lasted a day or so before they had it buttoned up sadly. It was during the preview period when the table games were open limited hours, at very low limits. The table I played on was min $5 max $100. I heard also they were giving back half on ALL outside roulette bets on a 0 or 00 hit. Not just the even money ones. So if you were playing thirds or columns that would cut the HE down to a single zero wheel on those bets. But i didn't actually witness the roulette issue.

Don't any casinos employees there gamble? It's not a particularly rare game- in fact it's pretty popular. Shocking no one played it before and immediately identified the issue. Shocking after all of the "fills" someone didn't check like, say, wizardofodds.com ?

Amazing...
Lack of prior planning on your part doesn't constitute an emergency on my part.

Casino employees are too busy worrying about the guy who spreads 1-5 on 6:5 Blackjack.

Hollywood Casino Columbus = The Twilight Zone

You have to see it to believe it. I could tell stories that are beyond belief.
It's in my best interest to keep them to myself. Maybe another day.

It was Hollywood Columbus?

That hurts, given my proximity.

Hollywood Columbus?

I will have to stop by after my bar exam.

Maybe I can make back my bar exam fees and course materials cost.

I got down on that game. I bought a seat for $400. Stayed 22 hours. Crushed it.

Good for you! I'm glad at least one WoV member was there.
