Hit three 7s 30 minutes ago with 100 on the ante and zero on the pair plus. Everyone at the full table simultaneously started cursing me in their native languages. Thought I might be lynched for a second there. After approximately 15,000 hands of 3cp I have hit twice as many straight flushes as 3oak's.

Just goes to show that no matter what game you play, someone's bound to get mad. In this case, either people feel like it's a waste of a great hand to not have any money on the pairs plus or they're jealous because they didn't get it (even worse if someone got up or sat down the hand before and caused that hand to get shifted away from them).

The casino I was playing at before had the 40-30-6-4-1 Pairs Plus, so that was great. Since I moved, the one I go to now has the 40-25-6-4-1 table. Not as good, but acceptable enough for me.

In the UK it's 1 4 6 33 35 and I rarely play the Pair Plus or Prime (most tables now have both as optional bets); and yes people look at me when I get one: I smile back and say I never play it so aren't worried. For many people, who play both, essentially you're either hoping to get a good run or a big hand before your money runs out.
