I saw a new table game at Four Winds Casino in New Buffalo, Michigan.
It's a dice game played on a low baccarat table. There are seven or eight spots. The dice are rolled through a plexiglass chute which sits on top of the table. The chute is moveable. The usual two craps dice are rolled.
There are two betting areas: A self-serve wagering layout in front of each individual player, and a bigger layout for the dealer to make betes. The base bet is the "Four the Money" bet. This is a self-service bet. It can be made at any time before any roll. If four numbers roll without a seven, you get paid 1:1. There are no craps or natural wins. The dealer will move your "Four the Money" bet along the four circles at the top of your layout to keep track of your bet.
Number bets: You can bet on a number. The number must be rolled twice before a seven to get paid. How this works is you place your wager in the self-service area on the number, and the dealer will "travel" it to the big layout and put it on the number. If it hits once, she puts a "1" lammer on it. Here are the payouts:
2 & 12 == 45:1
3 & 11 == 14:1
4 & 10 == 7:1
5 & 9 == 5:1
6 & 8 == 7:2
Feature bets:
All Small/All Tall (pays if all small or all tall numbers are rolled before a seven) == 34:1
All Odd (pays if all even numbers are rolled before a seven) == 16:1
All Even (pays if all odd numbers are rolled before a seven) == 70:1
Any seven bet:
Pays 4:1
The game is owned by Lakes Entertainment(R)

I can tell you the any seven bet is a 16.67% house edge since it is the same as a regular craps "big red."

If forced to play this I'd choose "all even"... reasonable HE for a 70 to 1 payoff.

Explanation text for the Four the Money bet should read a 3.55% house edge, not 5.35%.

Does a Four the Money table also have "All Tall" or "All Small" bets as mentioned in teddys's original post?

Yes it does. Also, every explanation text reads "the player bet bet" when it should just read "the player bet." The last analysis part should also read "Four the Money" not "Four for the Money."Quote: ChesterDogQuote: WizardI just created a new page for Four the Money. I welcome all comments.

Thanks for this teddys. I'm curious about how the dice are handled. Do the players get to touch them, or is there a mechanism? What randomizes the outcomes?

Players handle the dice and the chute. The chute is about the size of a turned over baccarat shoe. There are bafflers inside the chute to randomize the dice. It's a pretty cool thing.
