Do the Vegas sportbooks allow a bettor to tease a total?
Can I play a 2-team teaser with Pittsburgh -2.5, and OVER 27?
If yes, are the odds 11/10, or do I have to lay 6/5? Which books?

Yes, they are happy to, because they are a bad bet. I suppose if you must I would try to cross as many significant totals as you can. Common ones are 37, 41, 43, and 47. I'd try to cross at least two of them, like going from under under 36.5 to under 42.5. Still, it is negative EV. I analyzed it a while ago.

Jan 2012 issue of Casino Player magazine has an article written by Buzz Daly, which indicates the Vegas sportsbooks DO NOT allow bettors to tease totals.
Like the Wizard, I thought you were allowed to tease totals. Who is this Buzz Daly?

That comes as quite a surprise to me. While not admitting I'm wrong, I will ask about this my next time at the window.

NFL is kinda an interesting sport that you would like to bet on. It just shows that things would be very much interesting or to see the greater scheme of it. On the tease, i just hope that it would be good in the long run.

I need to learn something now. What is 'teasing' a total?
Someday, joor goin' to see the name of Googie Gomez in lights and joor goin' to say to joorself, "Was that her?" and then joor goin' to answer to joorself, "That was her!" But you know somethin' mister? I was always her yuss nobody knows it! - Googie Gomez

A common mistake I see with teasers is teasing a total. There is no total in the NFL or College that when teased six points, raises your win rate 20%. In general, teasing any total is a bad play.
