I picked Bengals -2.5 Confidence; they won by 4.

I picked Dolphins -14; they won by 15.

I picked Chiefs -15.5; they won by 16

I picked Eagles -6.5; they won by 7.

Lines on those games were sooo accurate. I was a luck-box this week to finish 5-1.

I picked Packers +6.5. They lost by 7. Somehow it stings worse knowing that they missed an extra point early in the game.

The Chiefs won by 16. With about two minutes to go they scored a very late, hardly-meant-anthing, field goal.

As it turns out, that field goal cost me $70.. as I would have been the only player with a 6-0 record. Yep, I had the Rams and +15.5.

It is a very strange feel when you disown a team but then live among its fans. I�ve been doing that a few years now. So I see them for what they are. Average at best. Which means a good team to watch for bets.

There are good bets to made against your local team. The lines are always skewed.

One of my bookies in Vegas would always know a bet or two of each customer and give him a half point to the bad side on the teams he knew they would take. Never become predictable to your bookie.

At my age, a "Life In Prison" sentence is not much of a deterrent.

I just suck. I watch these games probably more than anyone else here and can�t even come close to being as good as a coin toss. That being said, I�m going for the 6-0 perfection bonus next week�.

My best bet will be the Chiefs.

If everyone was a "random picker" (and if no one skipped any weeks) then for week 6 to week 12, the fair chance was around 1/68 that there would be no "perfection bonus" winners.

Actually in Week 10 I went 5-0 with one push ATS, so technically I did not have a losing pick. Not bragging; in Week 11, I went 0-5 with one push.

At this point in the season the books (and the bettors) have a lot of information on the teams. For me, it's harder to find value in the lines.

I already have 5 pts in losses, just got to wait for the Saints game tomorrow to see if I go to -6 or not.

I haven't looked at how other people are going, but if I lose all 6 picks then I will probably drop somewhere between 3 and 7 places?

Yes, if you go 0-6 you should drop five places, from 2nd Place to 7th Place.

A lot of love for the Bengals against the Browns and the Seahawks against the Panthers.

Quite a bit of love for the Jets against the Bills, the Texans against the Cowboys, and the Broncos against the Chiefs. (No love at all for the heavily favored Cowboys, or for the heavily favored Eagles!)

Mission, there are three games on Saturday this upcoming week, Week 15. Can you remind everyone of what we are going to do?

1. Are we going to include those three Saturday games and all picks from everyone are due prior to the first game on Saturday? (1:00 pm EST)

2. Are we going to exclude those three Saturday games and all picks are due at the normal time early Sunday morning?

3. Are going to include those three Saturday games but only if you select one or more of them, are your picks due prior to that first game Saturday morning?

1.) That's partially correct.

For any players who pick Saturday games, these are the applicable rules:

3.) Saturday/Sunday/Monday games will be the only games considered. Every player must pick exactly five winners against the Spread, exactly five Over/Unders, or a combination totaling exactly five. If Saturday games are available, then you must submit your set of Picks that includes a Saturday game at least ONE HOUR BEFORE KICKOFF of any Saturday games; your Picks will also be locked in for that week and cannot be changed if you have picked Saturday game(s).

I'll probably reword this rule next season, but what it is meant to convey is this:

A.) If you want to pick a Saturday game, then it must be picked at least one hour before kickoff of the earliest game you are picking, but not necessarily before any Saturday games kick off.

B.) If your picks include any Saturday games whatsoever, then they may not be changed or amended for any reason---even if no games have kicked off yet.

2.) Saturday games can be picked pursuant to what I have stated above.

3.) Saturday games can be picked and picks must be submitted at least one hour prior to kickoff of the earliest game selected.

WEEK 16 ADDENDUM

This week, everyone will receive a Reminder PM (even if you have already picked) which will also state that Lines will be posted on Wednesday for NFL Week 16 and that all picks will be due by Saturday 11/24/2022 by 10:00a.m. EST.

It looks like the unthinkable is now possible. We might go the last several weeks of the season without a winner of a Perfection Bonus.

If that happens, then I am hereby committing to taking at least that amount (and any unclaimed balances if I can figure them out) and putting them towards an NCAAW Tournament Bracket Game. Any additional funds, or whether or not I even do the game if the Perfection Bonus is hit, might depend on the number of committments I can get to playing the game.

Why a women's NCAA Tournament bracket game? I know nothing about women's college basketball and so many of us follow men's college basketball so closely!!!!

Why not just do an NCAA women's golf betting game? Or an NCAA Diving betting game?

So many better men, a few of them friends, are dead. And a thousand thousand slimy things live on, and so do I.

Also, it's going to be a very low effort game to play.

The only thing players may have to do in addition to filling out the initial brackets is that there will be an additional step if, in advance of the Championship Game, a tie is possible. In that event, all players who could tie will be required to give a final score and the tiebreaker will be based on:

1.) Picking the correct winner.
2.) Being closest on margin of victory.
3.) Being closest on total points scored.

Hey, you are welcome. It was looking good until late in the 2nd qtr when the CARDS got stopped so instead of going up 20 - 3 with a touchdown the PATS got the ball and drove the length of the field to make it 13 - 10.

And then apparently the entire CARDS team was kidnapped at halftime and replaced by impersonators. Bellichick has gone TOO FAR this time.

Just gonna brag a little. I submitted my picks this morning because I really wanted to pick Colts+4 vs the Vikings in the 1:00 pm Saturday game. I didn't watch the first half of that game, but I just now checked the score: Colts 33 Vikings 0. Sweeet.

Just wish I could have waited longer to submit the Sunday game picks - I will miss out on any news of late-breaking illness (flu) or injuries affecting the Sunday games. Oh well, them's the rules. And did I mention: Colts are ahead 33-0?
