I have been to Vegas for the last 15 years and it's changed a lot --- especially at the sportsbook. One time I go every year is one of the weekends of the NCAA tournament, usually 2nd weekend (sweet 16).

I plan on betting a minimum of $500 per wager this year (full games and/or halftimes). Can you get anything for that amount of an average bet at a place like the Mirage or Venetian? I typically watch games around that area. Typically, I've been told that getting comps through sports betting is difficult.

Does anyone have good information as to whether this is true?

Thanks.

You will get drink tickets at those places.

Westgate/Hilton is the best for sportsbook comps by far. Every $220 wagered on sports gets you $1 in comps at the resort.

Mirage will give you nothing beyond drink vouchers (all MLife). Caesar's will give you a pittance.

Best you could hope for is a seat in a roped off section, but you'd probably need a significant amount of non-sports playing as well. Sports betting just isn't worth that much to them.

Won't get anything worth sneezing at- if you were betting 5k a game you would be lucky to convince a host to give you a room
No longer hiring, don’t ask because I won’t hire you either
